The Glacier Society is a non-profit 501-(c)3 Educational Foundation based in Bridgeport, Conn., dedicated to uniting polar interests around the globe through restoration and operation of the USS/USCGC Glacier. Once restored, the Glacier will return to public service as a fully operational platform for scientific and environmental education and research.
